Every year our angel investors review 60+ company applications from across Washington State as part of the annual Flywheel Investment Conference companies. Investors then select the top six companies to compete live in-person and invest in one or more at the end of the conference. Since 2018, over 1.3 million dollars in investment awards have been offered at the Flywheel Conference, with millions in follow-on deals for founders who have competed at the event.

2024 INVESTMENT COMPETITION

Washington-State based companies can apply to compete for a $150,000+ investment award during the Flywheel Investment Conference on April 17-19, 2024 in downtown Wenatchee, Washington. Flywheel provides visibility, resources, and valuable connections for early-stage companies seeking funding. In addition to the investment offering, there is also a $50,000 relocation offer, a $5,000 cash prize, and more! ​

 

Applications are now closed. There is no fee to apply to compete. All companies who submit a completed application will receive 50% off conference tickets and recognition regardless of placement.

 

Members of the FLYWHEEL CONFERENCE 2024 FUND LLC will select six finalists who will compete live in Wenatchee for investment awards and prizes. Finalists receive free tickets to the conference, a two-night hotel stay, and complimentary tours. Learn more below.

Is your company raising capital? Apply to compete at the Flywheel Investment Conference for the chance to win $150,000+ in investment awards. Angel investors in the FLYWHEEL CONFERENCE 2024 FUND LLC will review all applicants and then select six companies who will compete as finalists April 17-19 in Wenatchee.

Competition Terms

It’s free to apply to compete

Open to any Washington-based early stage company who has raised less than 2 million dollars in investment (grants and non-dilutive funding sources do not count towards the 2 million)

Open to all industries

All applicants must be available to meet on zoom for interviews and due diligence review by investors during March - April 2024.

The six finalists will compete live on stage to an audience of attendees and investors April 18 in Wenatchee. All finalists must attend in person in Wenatchee from April 17-19.

Immediately following presentations on April 18, FLYWHEEL CONFERENCE 2024 FUND LLC Investors will deliberate and select the winner(s) who will receive an investment offer in the form of a convertible note. If winners are in an existing raise, investors will consider investing in their existing terms.

PERKS FOR COMPANIES

All companies who submit a finished application by the due date will receive 50% off all conference tickets.

All companies will be recognized in conference program and across Flywheel Network channels.

Finalists will receive premier visibility across all Flywheel Network channels.

Finalists will receive four free tickets to the conference

Finalists will receive one free hotel room on April 17 and April 18.

Finalists can enjoy complimentary tours across North Central Washington.

Jenny Rickel

Jenny Rickel is a telecom entrepreneur. She has been responsible for fundraising efforts, finance, sales, and operational duties for Cellular One, Northwest Telephone and Native Network over her career. In addition to her role as an executive at Native Network, which focuses on tribal broadband, she enjoys encouraging and connecting other entrepreneurs to resources and is an active Flywheel angel investor.
