Picture your pet on the pages of the 2023 Wags and Whiskers calendar
Wenatchee Valley Humane Society (WVHS) is very excited to launch a calendar, featuring photos of alumni, pets, and shelter favorites!
Help us fill the pages of the 2023 Wags and Whiskers calendar with furry friends by
entering your pet in our Wags and Whiskers photo contest! This year's calendar is new and improved with TWELVE fun categories:
- Whispiest Whiskers
- "Case of the Mondays"
- Most Adorable pair/trio/group
- Silliest Sleeper
- Hairdo Gone Haywire
- Best "Pets Doing People Things"
- Funniest Farm Animal
- Charming Reptiles
- Fine Feathered Friend
- Dashing Dog
- Fabulous Feline
- Compact Cuties
Winner of each category will win, among other fabulous prizes, a full page spread in the calendar (which will be available to purchase in October…or pre-order with your contest submission!)
And, to make things even more interesting, we're giving your pet the chance at the cover! **Cover competition is a $10 entry fee; monthly spread competition entry is free** Entering is easy!
- Choose a category (or 10), upload your photo(s) and complete the online form. Photos must be submitted by 12:00:00 PM (Pacific Time) on Friday, September 23, 2022.
- Encourage people to vote! Each vote is $1, so share your pet's link with friends and family and encourage them to vote early and vote often!
Who will make the calendar pages?
Join us on Facebook at 5: 30 p.m. on September 16, 2022, where will announce the category winners LIVE! Winner will also be featured on WVHS's website and Facebook page.
Prizes are not transferable and may not be redeemed for cash.****Of course, the real winners will be the animals in our care. WVHS provides quality care to thousands of homeless pets annually. As a private, 501(c)3 non-profit, Wenatchee Valley Humane Society relies on generous donations and grants to continue supporting people and pets in our community. Prizes
1st place in each category
- Pet's photo in the 2023 Wags and Whiskers calendar (cover winner will be featured on the cover)
- Original photo entry will be featured on Wenatchee Valley Humane Society's social media for the month of October 2022
- Framed copy of winning pet's photo
- Three (3) copies of 2023 calendar.
*If the photo submitted does not meet calendar requirements, an alternate photo may be requested. The photograph will become a month spread in the 2023 calendar and Wenatchee Valley Humane Society will determine the month that will feature your pet’s photo.
